Bodices
The focal point of your historical costume, the bodice should be a garment you buy because you love it and feel beautiful when you wear it. Our bodices are lightly boned for comfortable support all day long and on into the evening as well. Our seamstress' collection of fantastic remnants and bolt ends combine with her short attention span to make most of these bodices one of a kind creations. You won't need to worry about walking through the Faire and seeing someone else in a costume just like yours. Dark Cranberry Red Damask with Black bias binding. This bodice reverses to purple with black binding in a simple cotton. Very lightly boned, this bodice does not provide as much support as most of our clothing. It may be hand washed and laid flat to dry. Your waist must be at least 36" to wear this bodice.
"Senga" bodice in cranberry red cotton velveteen, size 8. Beautiful and elegant bodice, trimmed in gold and cranberry trim. Square neckline is associated with the Highlands and this looks great with a tartan or plaid skirt. May be gently hand washed and laid flat to dry. Shown with white 3/4 sleeve chemise and teal, cranberry and black plaid skirt.
"Eleanor" bodice in Black crushed velvet, size 8. Beautiful crushed velvet, deep scooped neckline, and black and gold trim create a beautiful look that enhances any costume. Dry clean only, but worth it!
"Scarlet" bodice in Brown suede cloth trimmed in Black with gathered peplum, size 12. We love this bodice for a pirate, a wench, or a country lass. Looks equally fabulous with ruffles and lace, or with breeches and boots. Lined in breatheable cotton, this bodice may be gently hand washed and laid flat to dry. Shown with Seafoam green crinkle satin blouse with triple puffed sleeves, blue dropped waist underskirt, and wool flannel skirt in honey, amber, russet and teal plaid. This bodice is also available in Tan in a size 10.
Tan Suede Cloth Bodice trimmed in black with gathered peplum. Size 10. Polyester with cotton lining. A great look for a pirate, also looks nice with breeches and over-the-knee boots. May be hand washed and laid flat to dry. Shown with peasant blouse and wool flannel skirt in shades of honey, russet, and teal. This bodice is also currently available in size 12 in Brown.
